Esme Calcutt-Principal

Esme trained in classical ballet from age 3 and throughout her childhood attended various training programmes and courses at Urdang Academy, Elmhurst Ballet School, Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, English National Ballet School, Cecchetti Scholars at ArtsEd Chiswick, and English Youth Ballet.

She graduated in 2019 from the prestigious London Studio Centre with a first-class honours degree, where she also studied ballet, contemporary dance, jazz dance and singing. Esme toured with Images Ballet Company and danced in the Netflix film 'Rebecca'.

Esme has trained in syllabuses of the Royal Academy of Dance, Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and British Theatre Dance Association; and has taught at several dance schools in Oxfordshire, before taking over The Oxford School of Ballet in 2021. She recently taught Cecchetti Associates at The Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

Esme teaches our classes in Oxford, Duns Tew and Deddington.
